Pretty good cage, but i dont love the door latches

a year ago

This is a pretty good cage all-in-all, but not as good as the one i bought several years ago, the wire is not as heavy, the door panel lock on this new cage is a slip over, while the older cage has a spring and hook. The same slip over latch holds the bottom pan in place, i have very smart rats and they are able to pop the door latches , so i also use a spring and hook to hold the doors shut. Other than that i really like the cage.

Chew proof...

I give a three because the cage was cute and I liked the fact that it had the metal bottom, But my hamsterbwas in it 30 min and I went to check on her and where the wire on the levels are in the pen , the wire had some wire that was not so smooth and my hamster noticed it and chewed , and it cut her bottom lip in half. I returned the product just because I was scared it would happen again .
