Walker's 2.0 Bluetooth Rechargeable Silencer In-the-Ear Buds, 24 dB Noise Reduction Rating, 1-Pair

I purchased these in March of 2024 and have been using them off and on since then. There are several features that I really like, e.g., being able to go from muting the ambient sounds to incrementally increasing it from zero to level 7 is great because that allows you to dial in the perfect mix to your liking. There are 4 modes that actually work and do make a significant difference as you toggle through them from Universal, Clear Voice, Power Boost and HF (High Frequency) Boost to get the better sounds for what you're doing. There's an amazing variable Sound Activation Compression (SAC) mode that is set by default and while your Ambient noise level is activated and say, a loud sound such as a gun shot, etc., occurs, it will automatically and instantly decrease that sound down to 24 db., which is rated at a Library Whisper Quiet level at 6 feet, then the ambient sound level returns back to the level you had set. I find this option exceptional when out shooting from the Range to the Field. However, one kind of irritating Con is that the wind is annoying even though they boast Dynamic Wind Reduction, but for the price and excellent quality of these, and I don't actually know what it would be if it wasn't reduced, it's something I can live with. The battery life is Ok, but one nice redeeming option with these is that they come with a portable recharging case, so if needed you can take a break and charge them back up even a few times if needed and that's a nice option to have in the field or anywhere you don't have another charging option. I've read a post or two thumbing down the option to swipe up or down on the buds for increasing/decreasing the ambient noise, but I didn't find that a minus if you take a few minutes and adjust your fine motor skills and with practice, I found that to be very convenient. The foam tips also I found to be a great fit and still comfortable if you take a few seconds and roll them between your fingertips to warm them up and then insert them in your ears and hold them in there for10 plus seconds to allow them to expand nicely which adds to their ability to muffle outside noise and helps them to be more comfortable. Overall, I give the Walker Silencer BT 2.0 Ear Buds a 5 Star rating (would actually be a 4.5 Stars because the Dynamic Wind Reduction feature doesn't really do a great job, IMHO) but not enough to drop full Star. I think the price, quality of materials and sound quality are superior to some of the other options out there I've tried and didn't like nearly as well.

Bought a few weeks ago for my job- to amplify sounds - and my only complaint is that there is absolutely no manual on what is what. Assumption is made that you know the difference between Power boost/Clear…/and the other two. It is constantly interrupted by other frequencies, making my job harder, not easier. Also, none of the ear sizes make it hurt any less. Having them on for more than two hours is painful. Battery lasts for ALMOST three hours.

I have not used them yet would like to learn to use them

For noise reduction and gunshot performance, they are great. BUT... I have had these for 1.5yrs now, use them regularly, ( 2-3 times a month) and the battery life is really starting to go downwards. I used to be able to shoot a full round of sporting clays, about 3hrs. The battery warning starts going off at 1.75-2hrs limit. So they are becoming my backup pair now instead of my main units.

This is better than my Audien hearing aids. The sound, clarity & volume are excellent. The Bluetooth, the App, & external mute is great. The App could use improvement. Like it should be able to give battery life & the ability to power on/off. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 is because the battery only lasted me an hour.

I bought these because I shoot a lot and I don't like the muffs but these are great for shooting or answering a phone call

I was skeptical at first. Cheap foam plugs have a higher nrr. I read the reviews and figured I'd try them. I was thoroughly impressed. Worked much better then any foam plug. We shot sporting clays with a 12 guage, 400 targets. Then 9mm right after. They performed awesome! I'll likely buy another set for my wife.

The ear buds are fine but the app doesn’t work… Disappointment

Worth the price, comfortable design, will buy again for other family members.

This item works as advertised I think they could have shipped a little quicker since it was a Black Friday deal

Had these for about 2 years and I replaced them with the normal muffs. There is no issue with them going into the case for storage or charging, they connect with zero issue to your phone ( I have an iPhone) I listen to music while shooting in the range. I keep my phone on the shelf where you keep your extra pistols and ammo so I can change settings if need be. Do not listen to reviews when people complain about their ear canals are too small or they can’t figure out Bluetooth or why this or that is not working. Charge them fully, put them into your ears, connect to Bluetooth if you want, turn on your setting that you want and start shooting. It’s so simple but people are so quick to bash a product because they are incompetent to figure out new technology. Not that hard guys! I would take these over bulky headphones any day. What else would you want? Tap the side to change or mute, shoot while talking or mute everything out, what else could you ask for? I have never had one issue with them. I can’t tell you how many people look at me and say “do they work?” Or they can’t believe that I am shooting a Colt 45 1911 Trophy Cup at 75ft and not even flinching. Just try them, trust me they are great

I really liked the idea and practicality of these Bluetooth earbuds. You have either pass-through sound or shut the world out mode. I couldn’t hear the TV in front of me with them shutoff and then clear as a bell with them on. It took me a little experimenting to find the right size foam and insert size to fit correctly. Comfort also took a little experimenting to make them comfortable for a hunting session. Overall great earbuds, I actually listened to one of my favorite Pandora channels while still hearing what went on around me; that’s pretty cool.

I’ve enjoyed the functionality, but still have an issue getting a full charge. After an over night charge the app shows 51% every time. It sure what to make of this. Also can’t figure out on the app the icon that looks like a sideways oval. When pressed it has a slash though it. I’ve tried it many times and it doesn’t seem to accomplish anything. Any thoughts ?

Bought these mainly for working on farm in loud environments and still listening to audiobooks. These things are quiet. Better than std ear plugs when I’m on the mower. Took them trap shooting, amazing response and protection. Only two things, I’m still working on operating them(using all the features), and battery life in mute mode(auto noise canceling) isn’t as long as I’d like. App works good on iPhone XR. Charge case works good and they stay in well, which was a huge concern for me.

GSM Outdoors helped with a problem the retailer had created when they sold us a package that might have tampered with and one of the ear buds wouldn't work. They replaced with the Silencer BT 2.0 -Bluetooth: work great for phone calls and ear protection!

Work great. Easy to use! They're expensive, but they are worth it!

First, for replacement tips... Get the surefire replacement foam or silicone tips. They work just fine. Otherwise nothing to add, as Tony would say, 'They're Great!' I use them everywhere from the range to mowing the lawn. Yes they aren't cheap, but better than the Axil's I sampled, and sound is on par with my Peltor Tep-300 I have to use for work.

I lost my original non-bluetooth Silencers so I got these as a replacement. No issues with the app or pairing and I can listen to music at the range. So far I haven't noticed any issues with the tips but replacements are nowhere to be found.

The manual that comes with these is beyond vague on how to recharge them and how to wear them!

These are awesome. Sounds like im inside the fridge. Dont ask how im able to make that comparison…

Purchased the Silencer 2.0 about 8 month age and it work fine for about a week. then it stopped pairing. I sent it back for factory replacement. It took a few months for the replacement (Shipping problems I guess) But i got the new replacement ones and they work great I have used them for the last month about three time a week without any issues. I believe they updated the software and maybe. the ear buds itself. I really like them now and would recommend to my friends. I rated the first pair at one star but the new silencer with the software 5 stars. They are great around the house too.

We hunt or shoot weekly... these have saved my families hearing! Buy them!

I purchased a pair of silencer BT 2.0s based on a recommendation from a fellow sporting clays enthusiasts. I am very pleased with them and a little surprised at the sound quality of music and phone calls through the earbuds. Of course they block out gunshots, that is what they are supposed to do but the sound quality when using them as Bluetooth earbuds is really impressive. Not quite as good as my Samsung pros, but close.

I own two pair of the 2.0 earbuds, shoot 4-5 days a week and didn't want any down time if there was a problem. This product is just awesome for me, charges quickly, completely protects my hearing at the range / in field, app has been flawless, music quality is better than most earbuds, app has ambient sound take-away so can go total nothing (on the plane). I've had these almost a year and only problem I had was a slight malfunction with one case / charger...and the customer service is truly like talking to a friend....I'm happy with my purchase!!

I wasn't sure what to expect after reading the reviews. I was tired of my earmuffs banging on the gun and getting uncomfortable while shooting sporting clays or spending time at the range. These are exactly what I had hoped for. Very comfortable, long battery life, paired easily with my phone, and work great indoors or outdoors. I am glad I bought them.

comfortable, work great, connect with the app easily but have to unpair device every time you want to wear them again. I wear my at work in a factory because I wear hearing aids and needed something to dampen the noise plus help me hear my employees and they work great. after about 4 months of use I notice 1 of the buds is starting to static and lose clarity so I don't think they will last long for the price.

Terrific so far but having constant trouble starting & maintaining 'pair' with devices.

They work really well at the range (rifle shooting). Postage took forever to Australia and bluetooth is iffy. They are very comfortable and do their job well if used for shooting. As bluetooth ear buds they struggle as they drop connection with my iPhone all the time.
