Wish it wouldn’t separate

Bought these a few months ago. They have been amazing. Unfortunately the plastic around the wires where wire meets the ear bud started separating. They kept my ears protected from gunshot blasts to hammering metal at work and still able to turn up to hear my co workers

Yes, I recommend this product.

They where pretty good until.

These where pretty decent until the left ear piece came off the wire. Up until that they were pretty good at detecting sound and canceling a rifle shot as where. But I'm not sure if I can get them fixed or not.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Every day user rating

I’ve used walker retractable buds for several years now and have enjoyed them immensely. My work and sport environment changes sometimes by the moment, so the features get used continually. The retracting feature gets operated several times a day and usually one ear is open for p2p communication. The sound is great - not Bose great, but plenty good for music and perfect for spoken word podcasts. I’ve had the earlier version and the present version in the hot sun, rain, shoveling snow, shooting, using power tools, etc. they have made my day much easier to focus…. 95% Here’s the 5% frustrations portion. These new buds have an auto off feature that I love because they will shut down and not drain the battery. The app is supposed to allow specific run time faculty. Unfortunately, they intermittently shut off by themselves while in active use. This requires me to fiddle with the buttons and hope to make them NOT shut down after I hear the 1 minute warning. Sometimes it works, and sometimes not. If not, I have to fire up the headset again and apologize to whoever I was talking to, or initialize playback on the podcast in order to use the device. I actually returned the pair and exchanged them thinking it was a fault. The glitch remained. I updated my iOS and then eventually bought a new phone (for other reasons) and figured the situation would change. Not so. - I put up with this nuisance because these are the best retractable headphones on the market for under $200, and we’ll worth the price. - I will continue to buy this brand. After 1.5 years of daily use and daily charging, partial charging, truck charging, fast charging, they keep on ticking. Though one of the buds is experiencing some crackle due to the recoil wearing out (like I said, I’m a heavy user, as it is my standard hearing protection at work as well). I’ll be popping over to ACME tools and grabbing a new pair.

Yes, I recommend this product.
