Yellow jackets are an ever-present nuisance around many homes in the summer months. With the TERRO Yellow Jacket Trap, you can attract and trap yellow jackets that pester you outdoors. The bait works by luring yellow jackets into the trap. They go in expecting a treat, and find they are unable to leave. For your convenience, the TERRO Yellow Jacket Trap is incredibly easy to use. Simply empty the included bait pack into the trap, add warm water to the fill line, and swirl to mix. Hang the trap on a tree branch, stake, or other suitable hanger. Traps should be hung in the late evening or early morning when yellow jackets are not active. Place in calm, sunny areas about 25 feet from activity areas for the best results. TERRO Yellow Jacket bait contains no chemical insecticides so you can use the trap with peace of mind. If needed, this trap can also be used with a supplemental bait as yellow jacket species and diets may vary. Recommended supplemental baits include lemonade, grenadine, fruit-flavored soda, fruit, fruit juices, beer, or sugar water. When the trap is full, it can be emptied and re-baited for continuous trapping.

  • Yellow jacket and flying insect trap is easy-to-use and reusable
  • Trap controls yellow jackets, flies, and fruit flies
  • Ideal to use for picnics, camping, and cookouts
  • Trap contains natural bait that is made of carbohydrates and protein, not hazardous sprays or aerosols
  • Bait is effective in all geographic regions

Horrible Product

Please do not waste your money. We have three active yellow jacket nests and wanted to try to trap as many as we could. One nest is under our porch so we set the trap right where they fly in and out. Not one bee has yet to be attracted to this. I'm glad I bought these while on sale but now I'll have to purchase the old reliable Rescue brand traps.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Don't bother unless you check it out first

I bought 3 Thursday afternoon, set up Friday morning. Saturday's afternoon observation: One by a hummingbird feeder actually has caught a couple of yellow jackets out of the many we have. The one by the wood pile doesn't have any thing even remotely interested and the third one well it was in half the bottle was on the ground and the top was still hanging. I waited until this morning to deal with it since I am severely allergic. The top doesn't stay on it. It's almost like it was stripped. Wasted money on this product.

No, I do not recommend this product.
