The Vetmedin-CA1 (Pimobendan) Chewable Tablets for Dogs are an effective treatment option for pets showing signs of heart failure. Vetmedin-CA1 has been shown to help delay the onset of symptoms and improve pets' quality of life, allowing them to enjoy more symptom-free days. It works by reducing the work load placed on the heart, resulting in increased cardiac output. This heart medication is indicated for dogs diagnosed with stage B2 myxomatous mitral valve disease (MMVD) and is safe for pets over the age of 6 months old. Each bottle of Vetmedin-CA1 comes with 50 beef-flavored chewable tablets. How it Works
The active ingredient in VETMEDIN®-CA1 (pimobendan) helps the heart muscle to contract and relax (pump) more effectively and it dilates blood vessels which reduces the amount of force with which the heart needs to pump blood.
