Anemones are wonderful small bulbs and are often underestimated like a little treasure. They are a great ground cover and a good choice for woodland and rock gardens. The foliage is low-clumping, but the blooms are very colorful. Anemones are widely available at retail nurseries and mail-order catalogs in mixed colors. Anemones in single colors, however, are unique and caught our eye, as they make for striking color displays in the garden.
