The Van Zyverden Louisiana Iris Black Gamecock Plant Mix is native to the southeastern United Sates, but is proving to be highly adaptable to other climates, soils and cultural practices. Aptly named for its region of origin, the iris plant mix grows in swamps, along riversides and damp hillsides. This plant mix will also tolerate a wide range of moisture conditions, as long as it gets at least an inch of water per week.
