The Van Zyverden Burning Bush, known variously as winged spindle, winged euonymus, or burning bush, is a species of lowering plant that is native to Japan, China, and Korea. These outdoor plants will add amazing fiery red foliage to your garden in the fall and a cooling blue-green in the summer. They are great planted in masses, and work well as a sensational accent. These landscaping plants also do well in geometric planting designs, such as hedges and flower garden windbreaks. For maximum effect, grow these garden plants with larger conifers or evergreens. The burning bush is an object described by the Book of Exodus as being located on Mount Horeb.
