The Van Zyverden Aquilegia Columbine Crimson Star Plants are known and appreciated for their spring bloom and beautiful basal leaves. The aquilegias' flowers are dove-like with a spreading bonnet-like appearance-perfect for use in borders, rock gardens, cottage gardens, shade gardens, woodland gardens or in naturalized settings. The aquilegia crimson stars, of a perennial variety, are very different looking Columbines with their eye-catching spectacular multi-colored crimson-red flowers.
