Q: I have a palomino. Do you use this shampoo on the whole body or just mane and tail? I don't want to lighten her body any, but would love a bright white tail.

  • A: Hello! We recommend using this product on the areas that you are targeting for whitening, however, this product does not contain any harsh whitening agents therefore it is safe for use on the body of light colored horses as well.

Bright White Ultra Shampoo & Conditioner comes in good quantity at a great price. I use it on my Valais Black Nose sheep. And yes, only their noses, ears and a few other strategic spots are jet black -- whilst the rest of their fleece is as pure as the driven snow - albeit not after a roll in the hay. Excellent product. My sheep or ready for the shows!

All of my UltraCruz shampoos and conditioners leave my horses coats ultra clean, soft and shiny. Their skin is healthy and naturally moisturized. I highly recommended any of their products!

A Must-Have for White Horses

I’ve been using this bright white horse shampoo for a few washes now, and overall I’m pretty pleased with the results. It does a solid job of lifting dirt and stains, especially on lighter coats, and I noticed a visible difference after just one wash. My horse’s coat looked brighter and had a nice, clean shine without feeling dry or stripped. One thing I liked is that it didn’t seem harsh on the skin. My horse didn’t show any signs of irritation, which is always a big plus. The scent is light and clean—not overpowering.
