Ultra1Plus SAE 80W-90 Gear Oil, API GL-5, is formulated with high-viscosity-index paraffinic base oils and specialty performance additives. The API GL-5 category designates lubricants intended for the severe service characteristics of gearsparticularly hypoid gears in automotive axles operating under high-speed shock loads, high-speed/low-torque conditions, and low-speed/high-torque conditions. Specialty anti-scuff additives and friction modifiers provide advanced protection and enhanced lubricity under extreme pressure. Additionally, U1P-Gear SAE 80W-90 Gear Oil, API GL-5, offers excellent shear stability and resists rust, oxidation, foaming, and varnish formation.
