Q&As

1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: Does the snow stick to the shovel???

1 Answer
  • A: Snow can stick to the True Temper Ergonomic Mountain Mover plastic blade, particularly when dealing with wet, heavy snow or slush. While the poly blade is naturally less prone to sticking than metal, environmental conditions and the temperature of the shovel itself play a major role in whether snow adheres to it.

True Temper 18 in. Ergonomic Snow Shovel

Easier on the back. Blade is not metal so does not damage driveway, patio, or other surfaces (and is not nearly as noisy, either). Replacing a worn out one. Tractor Supply did a good job. Product was wrapped in a large plastic bag, so a little difficult to unpack, otherwise would have been 5 stars.

Cracked upon arrival, broke after one storm

Received it with a crack in the tip of the shovel, but needed it urgently for a storm and kept it. Really good shovel while it lasted, but eventually the crack spread and it broke.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not good for scraping the pavement

Nice size. Not too heavy when filled with snow. Doesn’t seem to scrape down to the pavement surface very cleanly, though.

Did not realize the shovel was not in stock and waited 14 days to finally cancel the purchase
