Clip failed interstate at truck stop.

I am shocked. I should have read the other reviews before purchasing this product. We were at a large truck stop on our trip and let our dog out to use the bathroom. The leash just fell off. No warning. I could have lost my dog as we were right next to the interstate. I am furious that TSC would continue to sell this product when they know this leash clip has failed other customers. Please change manufacturers and keep dogs safe. No one should go through what we just went through.
No, I do not recommend this product.
