Horrible to assemble!

I bought four of these.. they are horrible to assemble. Taking three back to store. I would grace taken them all but I had one open! The legs do not fit in the holes... have never had so many issues assembling plastic shelving!!

The 27 gallon totes do fit. You just have to force them in. The 27 gallon totes are 14.7 inches tall and the opening between shelves are 14.65 inches so a very tight fit. They want you to fasten the shelves to the wall to keep it from tipping over. I believe you have to fasten it to the wall so you can pull the 27 gallon tote off the shelf without pulling the shelving unit over.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Cheap, but good enough

Yes, this is cheap plastic and it's a bit rough around the edges, but for the price, it's pretty decent. Put it on a flat surface, pound the pieces together with a hammer and a block of wood (like really pound them!) and you'll have an amazingly stable shelf. Forty bucks on sale, can't beat it. I've got about 40 pounds/shelf currently.
