Tackle tough snow projects with speed and ease thanks to the Toro Power Max 826 OAE 26 in. 252cc Two-Stage Electric Start Gas Snow Blower. A 252cc Toro Premium 4-cycle OHV engine powers the snow blower, and with a 26 in. wide clearing width and 20 in. intake height, you'll be back to playing in the snow in no time. The innovative Quick Stick control on the snow blower allows you to quickly and easily change steel chute direction and chute deflector with a single, smooth motion. Convenient one-hand operation levers on the snow blower allow single-handed operation, freeing the other hand to change speeds or the chute control without stopping. Give your arm muscles a break with self-propelled automatic steering for smooth, tight turning without pulling or strain - no triggers or levers required. The exclusive Anti-Clogging System of the two stage snow blower measures snow intake to reduce clogging and maximize clearing efficiency. Equipped with hardened gears in your auger gearbox - there are no shear pins to replace. Instead, if the auger hits hard material, the engine will stall to prevent damage.

Q: Does the push start have to be charged? Does the push start also have a pull start option?

  • A: The snow blower does not have a battery. To use the electric starter, connect a power cord to the electric-start plug-in first and then to a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) power outlet. Use only a UL-listed, 16-gauge power cord recommended for outdoor use that is not longer than 15 m (50 ft).

The best Snowblower I've Ever Had

I do extensive research before buying any major product. When it came time to replace my 19 year old 2-stage (basic) snowblower, I wanted one that offered most of the things I wished my old one had. - it had to have a manageable but sufficient path width. For me, a 24" is too small, while 28" is too cumbersome. Moving a 26" machine is just right for me. Think Goldilocks! - it had to have sufficient power. All I can say is: WOW, does it have power?! - it had to have enough speed to get the job done fast. It does. Even 1st gear is peppy. - it had to have an easy to maneuver discharge chute. With many blowers you either have a crank or manually adjust the chute and deflector. The Toro has a one-touch adjustment control right next to the hand-grip to simultaneously adjust the chute AND deflector. Sooo cool! - The tires have an aggressive tread, virtually eliminating slipping. - The 2-stage blades are designed to stop should there be a clog, rather than having to mess around with a shear-pin. There is nothing worse than having to remove and replace a shear-pin in the middle snow blowing, especially during a storm. Again, my only caveat is that, even in 1st gear the blower is peppy probably not making this machine ideal for older people. Otherwise, I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Yes, I recommend this product.
