[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the Titan ControlMax 1650 18V sprayer. It’s a cordless tank sprayer that comes with 2 batteries and a rapid charger. The tank is huge and holds over a gallon of paint. You can wear it like a backpack for increased mobility or carry the tank using the handle on top or you can leave the tank stationary since the unit comes with a 9 foot hose that gives you lots of reach. The tank itself is a bit heavy and after adding a gallon of paint, it could get uncomfortable if you wear it on your back for long periods. The spray gun is lightweight and fits your hand comfortably and easily adjusts between vertical and horizontal spraying. There is also a place on the tank to store excess hose. When connecting the hose to the tank, hand tightening is not sufficient, a wrench was necessary. There are Primer/Spray and Speed Control Knobs. Setup is quick with a very thorough instruction book and an app which gives you a digital copy of the instructions along with all kinds of helpful videos and links to order parts and accessories. Pretty handy that everything is on your phone and you don’t have to go searching for the instructions in the garage. I used the ControlMax to spray a new section of deck railing. I sprayed both vertically and horizontally. Using the Speed Control Knob you can create some serious pressure. I dialed it down since I was spraying narrow spindles. The spray pattern was smooth and even using the included tip. The job went really quick and I didn’t have to refill the tank or change the battery for this 15 minute task. Clean up was quick and easy with few parts to remove. Overall this is a very versatile sprayer that’s cordless and portable, easy to use and makes quick work of your project.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the sprayer to touch up a few sections of my fence that were heavily worn by the sun. I was able to go over 10 or 11 sections of my fence before I ran out of material and that was all done on a single battery and the sprayer came with 2. Since I used stain I had to use mineral sprints to clean up which is kind of a pain but its the same with all of the HEA sprayers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I build props for marching bands and this is perfect. It allows me to go anywhere to paint the various parts. The batteries have a decent lifespan before they need charged. I had a bit of a problem with the filter in the gun, but was able to resolve that issue. I do wish that the hose was a bit more pliable as it was difficult at times to manipulate it the way I needed it but I got used to it and wasn’t a big deal. It was easy to clean. Just be cautious that you don’t lose the small black part in the tip when you clean it as it falls out easily and can easily lose it if you aren’t at least aware of it. Overall it is a great unit and highly recommend it to everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unboxing & assembly was a breeze. Battery charging took a little longer than expected. I partially expect a larger cordless sprayer to have a dual charger (2 batteries at once), especially with the smaller amp-hour rating of the batteries relative to a lot of other cordless tools on the market. Sprayer is lightweight & easy to wear. I wish it came with multiple removable tanks for different products/cleaners to be used without leaving the possibility of material contamination from previous project materials. That being said, filling & use of the sprayer was quick & easy, even if I spilled a little bit on my own accord. Performance is on par with other Titan airless sprayers, but the capability to move & cover more area without dragging a hose or bucket along is a huge plus. Battery life is somewhat disappointing (can a larger amp-hour battery be used??). Happy with using this product for the first time, will definitely be putting it to use on larger projects, to keep from having by to lug around more hose or bulk materials.
