The Titan 72 in. x 80 in. Arcada Copper Surface Mount Outswing Steel Double Security Door with Expanded Metal Screen makes an attractive addition to homes in a wide variety of architectural styles. This double security door is made from steel with 1/2 in. square-tube pickets for added stability and intruder deterrence, while the expanded metal screen offers additional security and visibility. The steel security door has a 2-3/8 in. lockset opening that accommodates most backset locksets (sold separately) and has universal handing for mounting on any existing door trim surface.

Expanded metal screen provides visibility and ventilation

Protective powder-coat for a beautiful and durable finish
Reversible for left- or right-handing allows versatility when installing

4 in. one-way screws and one-time-use one-way driver bit included

Shipper damage

The door looked nice other than the shipping company damaged it. Looked like they ran a forklift into the screen. Several punctures through the box. I returned the door as only one shipping company is contracted and they clearly don't have quality guidelines . Reviews indicated frequent shipper damage but thought it maybe overstated.

Bent frame

Despite our inspection, neither the driver nor I noticed the bent top frame initially. We found where the box had been torn from the forklift in a few places but those areas were not damaged. The packaging is flimsy and corners needs to be better reinforced. I saw other reviews on bent frames but was hoping I'd have better luck. We did our best to reshape the frame and installed it with improved bolts that we purchased. I do like that the doors not only offer the security and ventilation I was looking for and look very nice.
