The Honest Kitchen Grain Free Chicken Recipe Dehydrated Dog Food, 10 lb. Box

We have a new puppy and want to feed him the best food possible. I researched Honest Kitchen and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, our little guy is rather picky. So picky, upon getting him home from the breeder, he would not eat the kibble he had been on since he was eating solid food. Initially, until we received our Honest Kitchen order, we added in some canned puppy food. Those were a hit and miss. Even when he did eat it, he ate a little, walked away, came back and ate a little more and this continued until he was finally done eating. Once we received our order, I mixed up a small batch and gave our puppy a taste. He woofed it down! At his first feeding, we replaced 1/2 the amount of canned food with half Honest Kitchen. The little guy ate much better. The more Honest Kitchen we added in, the better he ate. We are now at 50% Kibble and 50% Honest Kitchen in his bowl. No more canned food! He now literally runs to the bowl and eats it all is one feeding. He even licks the bowl clean. This product is GREAT! In fact, it even smells pleasant, unlike the canned puppy food. And, I don’t see all the disgusting hunks of fat I saw in the canned food. Very happy we made this purchase and made the switch. We only want the best for our little pup.

We changed over to Honest Kitchen Grain Free Chicken about 18 months ago. We have 4 longhair dachshunds - 4, 8, 12 and 15 years old. They have never looked as good, had such consistent stools or had dogs that drool for their meals. They are so excited - every time. Their weight is excellent and was something I was concerned about but it is great. The only negative that I have is that their teeth build tarter although it is soft tarter and wipes or brushes off easily. If you choose to use this food be aware of the teeth. Otherwise, it is an amazing food.

We were looking for an alternative to kibble and found Honest Kitchen. My dog loves this product. We use it as a topper with Honest Kitchen’s kibble and we love that it’s not super expensive compared to other healthier dog food options in the market. We prefer this grain free formulation of this product as the “grain” version has a lot of oats. You could always use this and sprinkle in your own oats if you wanted to keep some grains in their diet.

We have two Rottweilers that absolutely love the dehydrated dog food options, we alternate with this and the beef flavor. They get so excited and it is easy to mix and serve to our dogs. I appreciate the quality of the food, it smells and looks like oatmeal honestly lol. Our dogs have been healthy so I would say the results are worth the price.
