Hooks not up to the task. The hooks flattened out on the second weigh. The scale read 125lbs for second or two, the hook let go and the unit flew into the air and broke when it hit the ground. Not a chance this is rated for 280 lbs. Will be returning...

It’s an unassuming little scale, that is pretty bouncy until it settles, and I’m also constantly worried did the spring break and hit something. It works and it works well but it’s nothing amazing
