Q: Does the 6 ft. width include the hinges?
5 years ago- A: Yes, all gates are manufactured 3 inches short to allow for hardware.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: If I have a corner with gates going in both directions do I need to use a double post
5 years ago- A: I'm thinking you would need a post for each gate. The mounting hardware that came with my gate had to be drilled completely through the post. Also, only the top hinge on the gate can be moved up or down. The bottom hinge is welded in place. But then, if you have a thick corner post, you might be able to use a type of mounting hardware that just screws into the post at least 4 inches. I hope this helps!5 years agoHelpful?
