I bought this chipper to clean up brush from falling trees during a storm. I must say it performed better than I expected. I worked it pretty hard and it performed flawlessly. It easily chiped 3+ inch branches. Anything bigger I use for my fire pit.
JUST A SIDE NOTE.. no matter how tough you think you are, WEAR HEAVY GLOVES AND EYE PROTECTION!!!!

Good machine - satisfactory purchase

Ordered the wood chipper at the store. It arrived in a timely fashion. One of the cover caps on the handle was broken, but everything else was in excellent shape. It is, overall, slightly smaller than what was visually expected but well made. Assembly instructions were good. There was one difference. The instructions show separate wheel attachment brackets but the provided part was a full length axle with a three bolt frame attachment (which I like better than what was shown). In use, it has chopped everything fed to it very well. The 3 inch maximum diameter is a hard max. Jammed the inlet once and had to remove the feed chute to clear it. Since purchace it has chopped up two very large stumps (cut to size with a chainsaw) and enough fallen limbs to fill five wheelbarrow loads for garden mulch. Very pleased so far.

Starts easily and works well. Handles smaller branches with ease. Don't overfeed it to prevent jamming of the chute. Runs for a long time without refueling.
