We use it to grind alfalfa for the older horses. Clean filter every 10 minutes or so. Seems to work well

Good shredder but mediocre chipper. Some sticks (under half an inch) keep going through without a scratch. It’s easy for sticks to come out the bottom grill at an angle that avoids the blades. I have put some sticks in three or four times, in different angles, and they just fly out the bottom unscathed. It’s so odd. I do love that it has a button I can remove from the switch, preventing it from turning on until that button is put back. The legs are not as sturdy as I like. And the wheals on the legs are cheap and not held in place well. There is only a cotter pin preventing them from falling off but they can slide inward, popping off the hubcaps. I definitely wish I purchased a more robust unit but it’s good enough for now.

Shredder works fine for dry or damp leaves, even small twigs. But don’t expect any help from their Customer Service. Had a small issue and tried their toll-free number (“sorry we are unable to take your call”), tried texting, Messaging…It’s been 2 weeks and no response.

So far it is working great. I’m using it to chop hay for older horses that can’t eat hay
