Super S SUS.CPGRS.1232.097 Cotton Picker Spindle Grease 00 is a smooth textured, corrosion preventive grease lubricant manufactured with a special low viscosity, low pour point base oil with a lithium thickener, as well as rust and oxidation inhibitors. The machine grease lubricant is recommended for industrial and agricultural applications calling for a low consistency product with low operating temperature properties. Super S NLGI 00 Grease meets or exceeds the John Deere JDN-360 and JDN-380 specific cautions for cotton picker spindle lubricants. It is widely used in gearboxes on bush hog type cutters and some gear cases on riding lawn mowers.

Website stated the Muscle Shoals AL store had 1 in stock - drove 20 miles to the store and ask where the item would be located in the store and the employee told me they showed to have the item in stock but they may not have it. After I ask again where it would be located in the store and the employee pointed to the back of the store and said it would probably be located in that area and did NOT even offer to go look for the item.

This grease is used in snow blowers and lawn equipment and probably is agricultural equipment. It is specified by manufacturers and few places are willing to carry it. Tractor Supply has never let me down. The price is reasonable.

Excellent price and grease. I used this in the gear box of my snowblower because it was almost empty. The grease is fairly thick and has a sticky consistency which is what is required for this application.

I was supplied a technical data sheet on this product and it confirms that it is safe for yellow iron, including all copper containing steels such as bronze and brass. Why? Because it meets the American society of testing materials Standard D 4048 And it maintains its viscous lubricating properties down to minus twenty degrees fahrenheit. So yes, you can use it on your snowBlower gears and snow blower auger gearbox As another reviewer suggested. It is the same as stens 00 grease, Which I have been unable to fand retail sellers of december 21, 2023.

For Snowblower Gear Box

I added to my gear box. It took almost 2 oz. Make sure to weigh the new bottle so you know how much you are putting in the gearbox. It is hard to overfill through that small home. Took a while to squirt in there. I used a nail head to push it down into the gearbox. I also pulled the starter rope while engaging the auger so that the grease would circulate in the gearbox leaving more space for additional grease.

Without the grease the linear rails roll fine, after cleaning with alchohol and packing with grease the bearings bind or catch on something like a particulate in the grease and dont operate properly
