In my first week of owning this trailer, I noticed the lights were not functioning properly. I found that the rear right side LED light and right side fender light were not wired correctly! Wires were crossed. Corrected the wiring and now works correctly. I am very disappointed with the quality control.

I like the trailer overall, but troubleshooting the trailer lights has been a frustrating experience. I purchased this trailer brand new from Tractor Supply, and it has had lighting issues from the beginning. After extensive troubleshooting, I was able to narrow the problem down to a single wire shorting, but the issue is still unresolved. Replacing this wire will now require drilling out rivets, which is both time-consuming and costly. Unfortunately, this means I have to spend additional money to fix a problem that existed from the start. The design of the trailer also makes diagnosing and repairing wiring problems unnecessarily difficult, as the wires are not easily accessible.

Great Trailer, easy to maneuver and pull

I recently had my carry-on 5 x 8 steel mesh utility trailer burn in a fire and when I went to replace it, I saw this trailer. I truly think this one will be a better fit for the uses in which I do. I’m excited to see how the.Galvalume and the planks hold up to modern levels of use and abuse. Again, I feel that trailer will be a great fit for me and I appreciate its lightweight nature. I do have a question regarding the rear gate. In the specification/specs, it states that the gate lays flat for increased payload. On my trailer, it does not lay flat, but rather is slightly angled and therefore it’s not able to have lumber placed on it without undo stress on the rear hinges. please see the images below. I am hoping that I’m just doing something wrong or perhaps you could let me know if it’s normal, what did you mean in your description then by laying flat and or laying flat to increase payload. I also think it’s important to note that when you say 6‘ x 8‘ 8 feet is with the front gate tipped away. I think when I saw it, I was expecting that the deck with the rails all the way elevated would be 8 feet front to back And or 6 feet side to side. The 6 feet side to side feels like it’s not functionally true because you can’t utilize the last few inches because the tie down. If you were to put boards down there, then the tiedown becomes unusable. I love how it comes with a jack as all the other trailers traditionally don’t come with it and that’s a 75+ dollar savings.
