Stanley Black-Chrome Socket Set, 69 pc.

Great set of sockets with all sizes for common automotive and home use. You will need a larger 1/2” size set to do larger jobs, but you also need the longer ratchets in the larger set for large fasteners. The black finish has started to disappear over the years and made it harder to read the size. Other than the finish peeling the only thing from the beginning I do not like is the deep well sockets are not deep enough for many uses that other brands standard deep well sockets can handle. Never had a problem with the quality of the metals rounding out or wearing out or breaking.

I had a small, store brand socket set for years. Finally upgraded to this Stanley set and the difference was night and day. Can always find the piece I need for the job, no matter what I'm doing, and the feel and quality can't be beaten. Look forward to passing it on to my son one day.

Bought two of these sets... great for in the house and at our store... delivers good service and it tucks away nicely in small places.. broke the ratchet on one set and had a replacement within days!! Awesome service and great products,
