I bought this in December 2019 because of its anti-kink feature. We use it in the milk house and for washing vehicles and equipment so it is used daily. Everyone who uses this Stanley Fat Max hose at our farm loves the fact that it does not kink!! Just grab the end and pull it along with you. It will unravel itself as you go. I think some reviewers don’t like that it doesn’t hang back up neatly without a little work. I think it’s because of the polymer technology, but I’m not complaining about that trade off. I’m pretty sure worn out hoses here will be replaced with Stanley anti-kink hoses from now on.

I I bought this hose a couple of months ago. I needed a utilitarian hose for light jobs around the house. Saw this one at the local store, read the highlights on the packaging and decided to get it. Instant regret. The good points...It's relatively light and the connectors are solid. That's about it. I can't get over the fact that this thing kinks with almost no effort. It seems to WANT to kink. Odd thing to happen for a product that touts "anti-kink technology" right on the packaging. This is always a problem for a soft hose. A trade-off, if you will. I know this, but was suckered in by the promise on the package that, "I've changed, baby. That was the old me. You can trust me, now." Wrong. I just got through wrestling this thing for 10 minutes for a 5 minute job and decided to come in the house, open up the laptop, and write a review in hopes of keeping someone else from making the same mistake I did. Do yourself a favor and just buy a cheap, expandable hose for light work and a heavy duty (heavy and stiff) hose for the big stuff. Don't buy a soft "dual purpose" hose, thinking you're capturing a unicorn. You're not.
