[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I got this so I could have a tether attached to my hammer without having to modify the hammer. All in all it actually works, just when it gets too dirty it starts to come apart. But on the plus side leaves no residue what so ever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the orange tape trap to tether tools and electronic equipment to work safely at heights. The tape works great and the way it sticks back to itself is like magic and leaves absolutely no residue when removed.

Before I was just winging it with the tool traps, but having this tape around you can really whip up a great tool trap on the fly. Also works great for all sorts of sized tools but would work especially well on small diameter or odd shaped tools. No need for a heat gun too which is a big plus for not having to carry around another tool and also to just save you time. The tape has a backing which is great since you'll want to measure out a length of it before cutting and this helps preserve any unused but rolled out tape. The final finish also provides a decent grip.
