Works great for our Rottweiler

My dog trainer recommended this collar for our Rottweiler, who has done great with obedience training, but continued to pull when heeling and would not consistently come when called if there was a scent trail or other distraction. The instructions in the booklet were very helpful for getting us started. The tone and vibration options were not effective, but a level 1 on the static stimulation works well. With just a week of consistent training, she is doing great and often just putting the collar on her is enough of a reminder that we do not need to use it more than once and sometimes not at all.

I’m pleased with the collar and how my Great Dane is responding to it. It’s a great help!! What I find very frustrating tho, is that there’s no quick release buckle for putting it on or taking it off. So very frustrating to struggle with the regular buckle daily on a wiggly 80+lb adolescent dog. Are there collar options?

I have a golden retriever thatbhas selective hearing but when wearing the collar the beep is all she needs to remember her manners. She has had the vibration but I never had to use the full shocking button. Great range and ease of use

My dog stopped chasing cars after just a couple times outside. Kept it on level 1 and would buzz twice as a car was coming and if he got up to run I’d hit the button and he’d turn right around. Now when a car comes he sits down and watches. Good product

I bought the collar a little over a year ago so nothing can be done... The shock feature just gave out for no reason. Never wet other than light rain. My last one lasted years. Maybe the more expensive ones last longer? Would not recommend. Being disabled I can't chase my dog around.

This is my 3rd experience with the same model collar (previous one lasted 10+ years) and couldn't be happier. Durable, easy to use, and very effective. The older models had CR2032 batteries that needed to be replaced - the change to rechargeable batteries is a nice upgrade. I spend 1hr daily in heavily wooded terrain with my 2 dogs and the collars have worked very reliably.
My only improvement (and its a small one) is that the collar straps like a belt buckle, where I would prefer a regular clasp closure to make taking on/off a bit easier.

Extremely short battery life. I put it on my dog on when necessary and we rarely actually use it. But if i put it on him in the am, it doesn’t even last till night time. Very poor battery life. You must charge it nightly and sometimes more than that.
