This non-staining, no-odor insect spray gives up to 12 months of control for cockroaches on non-porous surfaces. Killing a variety of insects, Home Barrier is a water-based, clear formula that leaves no odor or oily residue.

- Spray Home Barrier in cracks and crevices, along baseboards, under sinks, behind stoves and refrigerators, and anywhere insects may hide
- Application is prohibited directly into sewers or drains, or to any area like a gutter where drainage to sewers, storm drains, water bodies or aquatic habitat can occur; Do not allow the product to enter any drain during or after application
- Do not water the treated area to the point of runoff
- Do not make applications during rain.
- All outdoor applications must be limited to spot or crack-and-crevice treatments only, except for the following permitted uses: Treatment to soil or vegetation around structures; Applications to lawns, turf and other vegetation; Applications to building foundations, up to a maximum height of 3 ft.
- Shake well before each use
- Peel sticker from flip-top cap and open cap; Discard sticker
- Remove sprayer from its slot beneath the bottle handle and remove and discard plastic wrap; Pull black hose tip to completely extend tubing
- Firmly press black hose tip into opening in cap until it snaps into place
- Hold sprayer below the level of the container and prime by pumping trigger several times until product is dispensed
- Adjust nozzle to desired setting
- To store, turn sprayer nozzle off
- Do not disconnect hose
- Return sprayer to its slot; Hose can be pushed back into sprayer handle
- One quart will cover 200 sq ft, One gal. will cover 800 sq ft.
- Apply a continuous band of insecticide around building foundation and around windows, doors, utility line entrances, eaves, vents and other areas to reduce the potential for entry by crawling pests
- Treat pests based on individual instruction provided
- To the extent required by applicable law, buyer assumes all responsibility for safety and use not in accordance with directions

Spectracide bug stop home barrier

I bought this a Menards. We had little sugar ants coming into our house. Soon as I sprayed them they were died. About a hour later had them climb right over the top of the dead ones. This product didn’t even last one hours. Let alone 12 months as advertised. Sorry I went cheap. I reckon you get what you pay for. I won’t ever buy this product again

10/10 performance but crystallizes when stored

The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because after sitting in my garage for some time it crystallized in the container and clogged the tube. As far as performance, it’s a 10/10 performer. I love it. But I don’t like it crystallizing because I only get to use like 1/4 of the container.

When I bought my condo in Florida 12 years ago the prior owners left many things (it was part of the sale agreements) Spectracide Bug Stop Home Barrier 32 oz spray was one of the items. I spray a lite amount of it 3 times a year, around the covered entrance way, on my veranda and around both sliding doors. It kills more bugs than listed and last many months. The bottle lasts a long time. The price is acceptable expecially for how effective it is. The spray bottle works perfectly to the last drop.

I use this product twice a year, spring and fall. I am very satisfied with the performance. I have a very old house and critters get in easy. No problems now.
