A: No, these tire bonnets are designed to fit 13-inch to 16-inch standard OEM wheels. Reviewers have noted that they do not fit 16-inch rim-sized tires or tires sized 265/70/16, and they are described as being for much larger tires than 205/70/16.

Q: These fit the P216 65R 16 tires on my jeep perfectly, they would probably work with most tires that fit in a 16" wheel.

Q: How long are each of the end straps?

    1 Answer
    • A: Because of the shape of these straps, there is not a length measurement. They are made to fit snugly over a 14 and 15 inch standard OEM tires.

Q: You are inconsistent with your answers. Sometimes you say it's 13 to 16 inch tires and others you say wheels. Those are completely different. A 13" tire is tiny. A 13 inch wheel could be on a small car. I have 28" tires on my UTV. Will these fit securely?

    1 Answer
    • A: I use these on my Ranger with 25 x 10.00 - 12 rear tires. I had to put rings farther apart to accommodate the longer front strap but it holds very secure. I’ve had issues with regular tie down straps always coming loose. These have not.

    Don't fit "standard 16"

Beware, these straps won't fit a 16" rim-sized tire. Tried them on a factory 16" Nissan Frontier tire (265 70 16), and they don't fit. Too small, probably work fine on basic 14-15" car tires.

Smart straps are not so smart

Bought these to haul a ford f150 from Dallas TX to VA. Strapped them down to an e trak system . I had to stop 5 times to reposition a strap that came off the tire. They may work great for ATVs but not full size vehicles.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Not universally sized.

I should have read the details on this item. I need them to secure a Prius to a flat trailer with slotted tracks. They are clearly for much larger tires than 205/16/70. I was able to use them by running the straps through anchored rings close in to the tires and hook them to other anchors a couple feet fore and aft anchored to the slotted tracks. This creates more friction points though, so it’s not ideal for a long cross-country haul. I’m only moving small cars locally though.

No, I do not recommend this product.
