Skout's Honor sent this product to me to try for free, and my honest review is that you need to get it. This isn’t an every day use shampoo, but when our dog had fleas man, did it come to the rescue. It smells great and works even better. I almost couldn’t believe it. The fleas were gone instantly. It was only a minor case, but I was so happy we had it. Not to mention it smells great. Make sure to read the shampooing directions!

I recently bought this shampoo because I noticed fleas on my 50-pound mutt. I've used it twice now and still have plenty left. You don’t need much to get a good lather, and I’m honestly impressed by this product. I was considering another brand, but it had a more "chemical" scent, so I went with Scout's Honor instead. It has an amazing peppermint fragrance, and the scent really fills up the bathroom when you're using it. However, the scent doesn’t linger on my dog, which I actually prefer.My dog is severely allergic to fleas, and since I can’t always afford flea medication, I’m really grateful to have found this alternative. The first time I used it, I double-washed him and let the shampoo sit for about 10 minutes. I used a flea comb afterward and noticed some dead fleas in the water. The second time, I washed him once, let it sit for 15 minutes, and then combed out the remaining fleas. After rinsing and drying him, I continued to comb out more fleas. This shampoo doesn’t kill fleas instantly—you really have to comb them out and let it sit for a while. It’s a shampoo that requires regular use, but I plan on using it in place of my regular shampoo because it’s so gentle.I wash my dog every two weeks, and he has sensitive, flaky skin. So far, this shampoo hasn’t made his skin worse or caused any additional flaking, which is a huge relief. I’m excited to try their probiotic shampoo and conditioner line in the future, but I can’t afford it right now.Overall, I highly recommend this shampoo for flea control and sensitive skin. It’s gentle, effective, and much safer than some of the harsher chemical options out there.

I have been trying to avoid giving my pup flea medication and have been using this flea repellant shampoo. Seems to be working great! It also smells so good! Will supplement with the home and yard repellant sprays over the spring and summer months.
