The quality of the wood is extremely poor. I got numerous splinters in my hands putting the two together. After assembling them you didn’t dare sit on them due to the rough and splintered wood. We returned them.

Nice choice for the type of wood used along with the sealer. Fairly easy to assemble. Rocks great.

I guess you get what you pay for. This item claimed to be cedar but obviously was not. There were plenty of places where the wood was split, a screw wasn't all the way in, or paint hadn't been fully applied. It was pretty hard to assemble. The places where you used screws and not bolts weren't drilled out at all. The channel bolts were difficult to use and if you put one in upside down, it's very hard to get out. Overall, it has a light, cheap feel to it. That said, it's a functioning Adirondack-style rocking chair. The arcs of the rockers are fairly small, but the rock is smooth. It's fairly high so if you're short, your feet won't touch the ground. It's fairly shallow, so if you're tall, your thighs will hang off the edge. If I had seen this in a store, I would not have bought it, but now that I have it assembled, it suits my needs for now and I will donate it when I get something better. It was inexpensive and I got what I paid for, so two stars
