The only thing that bothers me is that the canopy only lasts about a year and a half in the south Florida sun. Is there a alternative canopy for the Florida sun?

I have had my Super Max canopy for over 20 years. I replace the top about every 3 years and the sides about every 5 years. I live where we do not get snow so it works very well.

We've had this canopy for 6 or 7 years now and the original top finally failed so we replaced it. We are very happy with shelter logic and would recommend them to anybody.

I have a complete 18' X 30' ShelterLogic SuperMax Canopy & Enclosure Kit. I have replaced the Canopy Cover, and Enclosure Kit several times. We use this as a garage, for our Custom Wakeboard Boat. We get less than a year out of these covers and enclosures. The Southern California Sun rapidly breaks down, and degrades, the cover and enclosure material. Once the fabric is compromised, the cover shredds with the slightest wind. There is no option to upgrade the fabric, like some of the other ShelterLogic Products. We need to build a metal garage, but we keep putting off the cost. The Shelter Tube would be a better product, but a lot more money. This product is not terrible, if you accept the limitations, and expect to replace the covers annually. For several years this product has protected our boat. However, I have probably, now, spent the same amount of money as a 24X30 Metal Garage, just in covers/enclosures and frames. Another experience I have encountered is a delay in product availability, and supply chain problems. There have been a couple of times, where I have had to purchase an entire Frame & Cover + Enclosure, because the replacement covers were unavailable/on back-order/supply chain problem, etc. There have been several delays, throughout the years. At the end of the day, this product has preserved our boat. We have accepted the limitations, and the need to replace the covers regularly. The boat still looks great, inside & out. We've been using this product since 2012
