ShelterLogic Equine Run In Shed, 12 ft. W x 20 ft. L x 8-3/10 ft. H is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from cover only lasted one year The cover that comes with this is a standard cover, which only lasted one year. Shelter logic offers replacement covers that come in 3 different grades. the standard cover which is warranted for 1 year, a midgrade cover with a ten year warranty and a high grade cover with a fifteen year warranty. unfortunately they want as much for a replacement midgrade cover as they charge for the whole kit with a standard cover. I bought one of these kits about 8 years ago and it came with a higher grade cover that lasted over five years. I am disappointed with the quality of the standard cover.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I Guess It's OK Doesn't feel like $xxx worth of material, which is what it cost with shipping. Went together OK, with some challenges...the pockets for the horizontal rods were cut in the wrong places on one side, and the auger anchors were a little lightweight for our rocky soil. Instructions were missing, but I downloaded them and printed them myself. They aren't the clearest piece of communication, but you'll figure it out. It does take two people to assemble the frame loosely and also to haul the tarp over it. Everything else can be done by one person. But the estimated assemby times in the manual are off by at least half. Took us probably a total of four hours...maybe more...not including setting the anchors, which was the hardest part of the project with our soil. We will use this temporarily as a run-in, then as hay storage after we build our permanent shed. Seems OK for a 16-hand horse. Ily be happier with it if I'd paid less...sbe a more reasonable price point. If you've got time, you'd be better off building your own wood structure. We didn't.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Run-In Shelter 12 x 20 x 8 ft. I bought this less that a year ago. Wind cause the side to collapse- pipes bent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great inexpensive way to keep your horse dry I previously purchased the 10' high run-in shelter and loved it. I am in a high wind and snow area. I was concerned it would blow over with the winds or collapse in the snow. The first really strong winds came and I was up and down all night worried about it. It held up just fine. I used augers on every leg. Next came the snow and once again I was up and down all night but it did great. I was so impressed with it, I bought a second one, the 8' shelter. I am very happy with both of them. The horses had no problem going in the shelter. As we installed, they walked through and were very curious. When finished, I fed inside and they were fine going right in.

how does this product do in the wind??

Asked by: Amberlynettek
Hello, Proper anchoring is critical for wind resistance. We recommend anchoring every leg of the shelter down with a 30" anchor. Also periodically checking the anchors to ensure they are installed properly is recommended. Thank you

Hi Cathy, This shelter is not wind or snow rated. Proper anchoring is critical for wind resistance and we do recommend removing snow accumulation from the roof. Thank you
