Regulate the internal temperature of your garage or shelter easily with the AutoVent Automatic Shelter Vent Kit. The Shelter Vent Kit keeps your shelter cool and dry with AutoVent, the ultimate ventilation system for your shelter. Vent automatically opens and closes based upon the interior temperature. Adding the vent to your building makes eliminating humidity and moisture buildup in your fabric garage or shelter easier than ever. A bimetallic spring, which is heat sensitive, begins to open the vent at 74 degrees, fully opened at 104 degrees. When the interior temperature cools down, the vent closes.

Improving my Arrow shed

.My reason for this purchase was to install it in my metal building, not the canvas or poly shelters it was designed for. The installation went well and the louvers do what they are supposed to do, open when it is hot.

Vent kit

Don't work. Waste of time to install them. Had to manually open the vent to get air flow. Still in the position I put them in 3 days ago.

Look nice but...

I have installed 16 of these vents in a 30 feet high dome. It has taken care of the heat and humidity. Now it is fall and colder, not one of them close, the heat sensitive spring is too strong? . The service is 5 stars, the product is nice

No, I do not recommend this product.

Must have item

If you get one of the bigger shelters this is a must have. They work as advertised but the instructions should be more detailed and definitely written better. If you use a scratch awl or punch you’ll just stretch it out and have a poor install. There should be a better way to do these with the door off as well for a better install. The material should be double reinforced behind them in my opinion, but we’ll see how it holds up. I’m definitely a bit skeptical.

Yes, I recommend this product.
