Due to a large amount of snow and a late spring, I can show the portion of the deck we treated last fall that always gets green algae growth on it. As of last fall and this year, it has not come back. The product was super easy to apply. I am going to try it on a small section of roof shingles that always gets algae growth this spring.

To prep this product for use on our front porch, we first had to have the wood sanded, stained and sealed, which does the most cosmetic change. However, it’s important to note that the application of this Stay Clean protector did give me the extra confidence of the porch being adequately protected from mold without making the texture odd, the surface being safe and not slippery and also not leaving a residue that would make it transfer to clothes or shoes when touched. I applied this with a standard bristle brush, waited for the layer to cure then applied a second. It didn’t need extra protection while drying but we did limit traffic as much as possible until it was (easy enough to keep people off; animals, luckily, did not either). It went on easily and the smell, being outside anyway, wasn’t an issue. I did have some left for when we clear off the patio before the summer but it’s covered in firewood and lumber but for now, we’ve only done the front porch. I’m afraid we’re really going to have to get to refacing the whole house because the porch looks out of this world new and updated, but I do have the confidence it will stay that way with this protectant on it until we can get to the rest. And needless to say, I hope to purchase more of this for those surfaces as well. Time will tell how long the protection lasts but as is, I have the confidence it will do well.

This product perform well by penetrating the pavers and looks like it is going to be a great barrier in helping with the durability and longevity of the pavers to keep free from mold and dirt. The application was fairly easy you just need a spray bottle or pump to use the application.

This product works great for a newly constructed build and is extremely effective at sealing floors and patios. This is a great value as a little bit goes a long way.
