The NOVA Structural Lag is the superior lag screw for any of your projects. With a strong thread that ensures maximum withdrawal strength and extra sharp Fast Start Tip that easily grips and cuts its way through the wood. The self-tapping thread cuts effectively through materials such as wood, plastic and sheet metal. The Twin Blades ensures minimum friction on the shank and the Locking Wedges under the head countersink perfectly with maximum wood contact. Common Applications: commercial & residential, timber, ledgers, posts & beams, roofing, deck framing, docks, and much more!

  • Horizon Curve: A slight curvature of the head for elegant, professional, architectural results. Whether countersinking or surface mounting, the results are impressive!
  • Locking Wedges: The locking wedges help to mill and countersink the head into the wood for a clean fi nish. It also locks the head into place preventing unwanted future movement.
  • Twin Blades: Patented(2) Twin Blades knurls cut fast to dramatically reduce friction and heat on the shank, while reducing load on the drill. They also provide better performance by removing debris faster than a standard fasteners knurl.
  • Fast Start Tip: With sharp threads all the way to the tip, the fastener has an immediate grip for a fast start. The inset thread cut drastically reduces the splitting effect and minimizes the driving torque needed to engage the wood.
