- A: Hi rcat! The conchos are securely attached to the decorative band on the hat, not directly to the straw. You can easily remove the entire band (which carries the conchos) if you want to change the look, but the individual concho pieces cannot be unfastened from the band without altering it.a day agoHelpful?
