Great tool for dogs with abundant coat

I have this for my English Springer Spaniel Sadie. It’s wonderful for her mats in her feathering. Yes, it is very sharp so it must be used with caution. I also am careful for use close to her skin. I try to keep up with the mats so they don’t get too big because I don’t want to take out too much hair. If used carefully and not overused, it is an amazing tool.
Yes, I recommend this product.

We have a Maine Coon cat who canât groom himself anymore. He was full of mats. This product is nothing short of amazing! Thank you so much for putting out a product that does such a great job!

Best de-matting tool ever!!!!!! I bought this tool about 12 years ago for my Kerry Blue Terriers and it was wonderful!! Takes out matts, burrs, dead hair, etc!! I now have an Irish Water Spaniel and use it on him. Nothing else will go through his fur. The handle has been chewed, but even after all these years, this tool still works perfectly! My only complaint is that it is designed for right handed people which is why I'm on this site -to see if I can find one for lefties!!
Would highly recommend this for any dog coat prone to matting!!!
