I saw the reviews here, and it should go without saying that you don't use a plastic vent cleaning brush on a hot vent pipe. The cleaner is plastic for a reason. Metal brushes should NOT be used on the interior surface of a pellet stove vent. It is not like regular wood stove vents and needs to remain shiny and smooth. A metal brush will ruin your pellet stove vent in 1 use. I've used this brush for an entire season and never had the problems these people have reported. When used appropriately it works great and won't break.

Bought this brush, got home, and proceeded to clean the vent on our pellet stove. Used short cleaning strokes, but when brush rounded corner....SNAP, off came the brush, and was lodged in the pipe. I had to completely disassemble the piping from inside the house to retrieve the broken brush. What a pain in the rear...escpecially when I just bought it and used it for the first time. It needs to be affixed to the rods A LOT better than just "melted" on by the plastic.
