Rust-Oleum Specialty Ultra High-Heat Spray Paint restores and protects metal from corrosion in environments up to 1200 degrees Fahrenheit. It is ideal for use on the exterior of grills, fireplaces, fire pits, radiators, automotive parts and more. It offers superior rust prevention and color retention to keep items looking their best despite weather and wear. Spray paint goes on smooth and requires no primer for general adhesion. Not for use on surfaces that come in direct contact with fire.

5 years ago- A: Yeah, it'll work on the fireplace trim. For best results, prep the trim well (sand & clean), then use high heat primer. When you apply this paint, the "trick" is to follow the instructions. the curing process is really important. Basically its a three step heat/cool process where you step up the heat each heat/cool cycle. Smells when you first heat it up, but after its all cured etc, its fine.Anonymous5 years agoHelpful?
