Q: Can this be used on a composite deck

1 Answer
  • A: The 35PLW Pusher Shovel has a steel wear strip leading edge on the bottom of the blade. We do not recommend using this on a composite deck as it could scrape and or gouge the decking material.

Works great for light duty

Have used a few times so far and I love the wide width. It does a great job pushing minor amounts of snow. I have also used it on snow that had a layer of freezing rain on it and it struggled (almost broke). I have not used it on deeper, heavier snow but I don't think it would be very good for tat task either. One other note is that it has a very sharp edge which works great on a flat, smooth surface but gets easily hung up on rougher surfaces. Overall, I like it and it is a good value if you realize it can only handle so much.
