My new kitten loves this food. I thought bringing him home change of environment and water, he would have tummy trouble. He has transitioned so well you'd never guess he is only been here a week.

Positives and negatives

They like it and that's a positive. Cats who aren't eating well, will eat it, too. I used it for the last 5 months of a cat's life when she had cancer and wouldn't eat anything else. However, the ingredients and guaranteed nutritional levels aren't listed on the individual cans labels, and with good reason. The ingredients are questionable at best. Pork by products, marigold extract. I don't know if it meets certification standards. That's not on the individual cans, either.

Great for weaning kittens, but expensive.

I have independently fostered neonate kittens for years. The babycat mousse is great for weaning kittens off the bottle and off milk in general. Downside...so much more expensive than other brands for wet kitten food. I am going to need to change what I offer the foster kittens because of the pricing. It will be harder to wean, but every kitten weans at some point.
