I have another dremel so was aware this mandrel is tricky, but I have always been able to get it to work - this time the screw would not go in all the way, I removed the screw, removed the disk, then installed the screw again - this time it stopped half way and did not come out - just spins - arghh

No, I do not recommend this product.

Totally inadequate (if I am using it properly...)

First time I have used this mandrel with a cutting tool. I cannot even get the tiny screw to tighten enough to keep the wheel from slipping around the mandrel... The luster is dimming on my Dremel tool

No, I do not recommend this product.

402 bit

the 402 screw top bit that comes with the machine, does not fit the cutting wheels 409 and also the larger ones that i bought! The middle hole is too small and I have to take time to enlarge the hole to fit the bit, while having a few break while enlarging. I use the v shaped grinder and screw top bits to enlarge the hole.

Yes, I recommend this product.
