I’ve been disabled all my life but when neuropathy hit, I was devastated! I found this last piece of equipment I needed to be independent on TractorSupply.com Price was competitive. Company is local and reputable, so I trusted them. Shippping was fast. Two challenges tag not seen completely when chair is not in use; lift was wobbly until neighbor attached two small “brackets” to secure it completely. He put it on my car and off I went!!! Thank God I’m on the road again! I smile every time I look at my lift! I feel like a kid with a newly awaited toy on Christmas Day!!!

This was very poorly designed. The tie-downs never worked right. Re-loading the wheelchair often took multiple attempts. I have returned it.

Before buying the Rockland lift, I had a carrier with a fold down ramp to roll my wheelchair up on. The back pain I endured while loading it was to great to continue so I had to buy an electric one that did not require any lifting or pushing. The assembly was simple enough for this 85 year old man to sit on the floor and pretend I was playing with an erector set. There is only one feature that I am not happy with and that is the tray does not lay flat on the ground. The back end of the platform is 4 inches above the ground, so getting on the ramp is a little bumpy. The tie down straps are so clever, self retracting takes a lot of work away from cinching my chair down. I can't say enough about how good it is to have the platform auto folding.
