RiverRidge Home Kids 5-Cubby Storage Bench

I got this cubby storage a couple of weeks ago, and it is a space saver. We had just move to our new home and this brand new furniture made my girls room more organized. My girls love how it has a small bench to sit.

I got this for my 6 year old to replace his other bookshelf! This gives him a place to store and read his books. As a single mom, I had to assemble after my son went to bed. It was easy to assemble. I only ran into a small inconvenience. One of the screws did not have the groves cut out for a screwdriver to fit into and they did not supply any extra hardware. I did have one that was same size to be able to use. I am excited for him to use his new reading area!

It’s rare that I get instructions that are this easy to understand when it comes to furniture that needs assembly. Between the great illustrations and the step by step written instructions, I had no difficulties putting this together. All of the parts came labeled, so it was easy to find the pieces I needed. In total, it took me an hour to assemble it, although it may go a little quicker if you do it without a 4 year old “helper”. The only tool I needed was a Philips screwdriver. The white finish was in perfect condition on all the pieces when it arrived and so far is holding up well. It holds a good amount of books for a child and the height of the bench is perfect for my 4 year old. I think we will get plenty of years of use out of this piece.

I really like this storage bench. It was easy to put together which took me about 45 minutes. I placed this bench in my child's room and he likes to sit on the bench and read. The five cubby holes can hold quite a bit of books. This has become a perfect quiet corner to enjoy some reading.
