Purchased 2 different beds to let my dogs decide which one was better in the price range. (Fabulous price for the quality on both!) I have to say the materials and the workmanship make this an item that could be 2 or 3 times the cost. This bed has held up to a mastiff curling up on it and retained the shape. No depression to the cushion, it is still 4" deep. (Over a month) It also is a great bed for the 2 miniature dash hounds to cuddle together. I also have a 45 lb mixed breed who prefers the other bed, the burlap style "Mutt Nation" bed. The bed vacuums so well that I have not had to wash it yet. The fabric appears to keep the dirt and sand on top, (SC soil at the coast has lots of sand), a plus because their old beds allowed the sand inside the bed making a lot of work getting it ready to wash. Also note, the bottom non skid really works. Since that was a major decision on the beds, I am going to get a second one to put side by side so the Mastiff and the little guys can all snuggle together. (The little guys will also go to the other bed if the mixed breed is not on it, they like both) There is a handle on the side which is a very well thought out option, only 1 hand needed to pick up the bed for vacuuming or washing floor. The 2 that I purchased are of exceptional quality, good design, and most importantly, the dogs are happy. I will say that the description says 34" in length. I have measured several times and mine is 36". The 24" width is still the same. The overall construction, the dogs response, and the incredible price make this bed a winner. I highly recommend this bed!

Not too bad for the price. I can tell it isn't going to hold up under my 80 lb dog. Would probably work better for a smaller dog.
