- A: It can hold at least 425ml/0.11gal 0.9% saline solution (similar to dog urine) and it will be more if holding pure water. The pad has at least 2 hours of coverage for 0.9% saline solution.. However, to prevent leaks and maintain a sanitary environment, it's recommended to change disposable puppy pads every few hours or as soon as they are soiled or wet.11 months agoHelpful?

I used these when I had gotten a puppy 1.5 years ago and my friend also used these when she was crate training hers and a breeder i know from doing dog shows also recommended these it really saves time for cleaning the crates. you may need to use a grate in the crate, so the pups don't chew them up. So, I now keep them on hand. The pads work great.
