Yes, this is one tough ball! I purchased this ball when my doberman pup was 7.5 weeks old. She is now 19 weeks, and is just now getting the majority of the fuzz off this ball. We have played many a game of fetch with this ball, and she likes me to try to get it from her, so it's been tugged on quite a bit as well. Her teeth are like razors but this ball still hasn't been punctured (although it is bald 10 weeks later. lol). Great bouncing ball, and my dog likes the texture of the fuzz. Highly recommend!

This ball is junk. I have a German Shepherd and this ball broke in the first 2 minutes of her chewing and playing with it. Broke in half inside the cover. See pictures.

It's definitely a tennis ball! My dog doesn't love it, but I think my dog is defective. Won't fetch. Won't even pick up the tennis ball even though it's been slashed open and stuffed with hot dogs. At least he's cute. In all seriousness, I appreciate TS for stocking tennis balls year round and in single-ball purchasing options. Clearly my dog didn't want a multipack.
