[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seat is being used as a liner in the car. It helps get an elderly person out of the seat. If you have a cloth covered car seat, or even a slight bucket seat, sometimes a person can not easily swivel themself out of the car with their legs to exit. I know this seat is a replacement seat for a chair, but it does work well to give a 1/4" rise and non-cloth seat in a passenger vehicle. You can line it with a trash bag too for easier swiveling. I learned this trick from a physical therapist while taking care of a family member. That's why I got this seat...and it works like a charm.

The replacement seats were purchased so we could just replace the seat instead of the entire chair. This makes it handy especially in today's economy when the chairs have doubled in price. The replacement seats are a little hard to take off and put back on, but once on, they seat themselves.

Also, it's easy to maintain since I can just wipe it or dust it off to make it clean. I'm not so sure about the durability of the cover though and it's also stapled at the back. I have to say it's not really that comfortable sitting on it for some time. It's made of hard plastic at the bottom with little cushion on top. Maybe they could've added more/thicker padding so it's more comfortable.
